How TimeAtlas works
Simple maths, clear assumptions, nothing hidden.
--:--Your local time
Celestial dial
The dial is turning…
Every city clock is computed from your own clock plus its UTC offset — no server involved.
Where does the time come from?
Your browser's clock (Date.now) plus each city's stored UTC offset — no server and no API.
What about daylight saving?
Only standard offsets are used; daylight saving is not applied, so a few cities can be an hour out in summer.
What kind of holidays?
Fixed-date public holidays only; moveable holidays like Eid, Easter and lunar new year are excluded.
How many pages?
76 cities, 63 country holiday lists and 120 conversion pairs, in two languages.
